Approximately 90 pages. many brief entries for that year beginning January 1, 1867 through November 15, 1867; regarding his work in a store in Morgan, Michigan, social life and visits from friends and family, investment in the Michigan Iron Company. Also, Sheldon’s personal financial accounts dated 1866-1869. Diary printed with monthly calendar, dates of eclipses, church days and postage rates for 1867 along with memorable dates in the war for the union 1861-1865. Rail road ticket found inside for passage from Negaunee to Morgan, Michigan circa 1868
