ALS, 1 page (4vo), 10 1/4"x8", Ausable Forks, New York, addressed to Hazel Kapstein (later Harwell), assistant to publisher Thorne Donnelley of the Lakeside Press. Folded for mailing, very good, with envelope, 4 1/2"x5 1/2", postmarked July 31, 1933. Thanking Ms. Kapstein for a dinner, describing wedding arrangements being made for her wedding at the Kent residence, thanking her for travel arrangements, and asking for statements and addresses, signed R.K., July 31(?), 1933

Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection consists of letters and supporting documentation, books on the art of letter writing, a small miscellaneous grouping of catalogs and photographs, and issues of The Wolf Magazine of Letters from June-July 1979 to Summer Quarterly 1991. The earliest letter, from the Marquise de Sevigne, dates from 1695; while the most recent was signed by entertainer Mike Douglas in 1980. Most of the letters date from the 19th century.
